In order for you to get a better tax return, a lower tax liability you have to be working with someone that has a mindset of wanting to push you to the next level.

Many of you may be working with someone that you’ve worked with for years now but they’re not keeping up with the latest education. I have many customers come to me that have gone through situations like this where they felt like they weren’t getting help with saving on their taxes or being educated. Make sure you’re changing your thinking; your tax professional needs to be someone that keeps you updated and stays educated to help reduce your taxes. You want to work with a tax professional that you feel confident in working with; the more education you and your tax professional have, the less your tax bill is going to be. Choose a tax professional like you would choose a doctor, someone that has the knowledge that you’re seeking; make sure that this person can resonate with you and gets to know you personally. You want to make sure that you’re not just a number to them.
